M/V Andaman Eagle

M/S Andaman Eagle provides a truly unique live-aboard diving experience in Thailand. From our beautifully restored Swedish ketch, our highly professional and experienced crew delivers what others can only promise ? truly personalized service in a small group setting. With a maximum of six divers on board, you?ll be treated to a first-class experience both above and below the water.
The Andaman Eagle was built in Sweden in 1933. She was originally designed as a commercial fishing trawler for service in the Baltic and North Seas. She is built of heavy oak planks and beams of a size nearly impossible to find these days. During the 2nd World War she was hired as a supply vessel for the German Navy and was sunk by the Allies in the Baltic Sea. After the war, she was salvaged and returned to commercial operations. After being retired from commercial work, she was fitted with masts and sails. The main and mizzen masts are deployed in a cutter style with ketch rigging. As a private vessel, she has sailed around the world three times with different owners.
